Preview iA Writer’s formatting

iA Writer for Mac includes a Preview window to show a formatted view of your active document, including Markdown formatting.

Open iA Writer

Show the Preview window

In iA Writer, select View ➤ Show Preview.

Hide the Preview window

In iA Writer, select View ➤ Hide Preview.

The Preview window automatically updates after a 3 second pause.

Copying from the Preview window lets you paste formatted text into other apps, such as email.

You can also see a formatted preview of iA Writer documents using Apple’s QuickLook (select the document in the Finder then press Space).
